Veteran Floridian death metal outfit Deicide have found a new guitarist in Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez of Exmortus fame. Gonzalez comes to the band in place of guitarist Kevin Quirion, who indicated he was exiting the group this past May. In a statement shared earlier today, September 16th, Deicide said the following about their newest member:
“Deicide has recruited Exmortus shredder Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez to replace long-time guitarist Kevin Quirion. Conan will be making his first appearance with Deicide on the bands upcoming Latin american tour with Behemoth. The band promises a relentless and powerhouse return to the live stages.
“I’m thrilled and honored to jam amongst such legends as Glen and Steve and to hang with the rest of the team. I thank them for having me on board. I’m looking forward to unleashing hell in Latin America on this tour.” – Conan“
