Gold-certified melodic metalcore outfit Atreyu made an interesting move on their social media today, September 12th. The band posted blacked out images on their Instagram, Facebook and X accounts, accompanying them with the caption of R.I.P.. Their respective bios on those social media profiles also now showcase “R.I.P.” as well.
As of press time, various venues in both the U.S. and UK have not reported any cancellation for the band’s scheduled fall 20th anniversary touring for their gold-certified album “The Curse“. Whether or not today’s development is part of a promotional stunt or an end to the band remains to be seen. That touring is scheduled to play out as follows:
