Continuing the trend of ‘holy shit that band are still active? week’ comes word that Feersum Ennjin will release a new self-titled effort on November 01st. The group, who feature ex-Tool bassist Paul D’Amour within their ranks, last released a self-titled EP back in 2005.
According to D’Amour:
“Feersum Ennjin really started as a series of studio experiments but gradually took on a life of its own. All of the different musical experiences of my past took form as I found a melodic thread to tie them all together as one sound. I’m looking forward to taking the next step, to make Feersum Ennjin a living, breathing entity that exists beyond the studio.”
As the last line suggests, the group are in the midst of lining up live shows with more details pending. For now you can check out what looks to be the cover art for the outing below:
