Ex-Butcher Babies vocalist Carla Harvey has fleshed out an all-female lineup for her new band The Violent Hour. Thus far that project has seen Harvey on vocals, with her significant other, Charlie Benante (Anthrax/Pantera) assisting with songwriting, instrumentation and more. Newly announced as her bandmates in this venture are:
Kiana De Leon – lead guitar
Allie Kay – rhythm guitar
Jewel Steele – bass
Sasha De Leon – drums
Both Kiana and Sasha have played together in the Pantera tribute band Far Beyond Hostile and Vixen Vendetta. Harvey stated on social media this morning, August 29th, of this new roster and realizing her dream of fronting an all-female band:
“I’ve dreamed of having an all girl band my whole life. After a long search I finally found them. Four incredible women who share the same drive, passion, and fire that fuels me. We are the @theviolenthourband and we are your new favorite band.”
