Gold-certified alternative rock outfit Queens Of The Stone Age have announced a September 26th release date for a new vinyl pressing of their latest outing, “Alive In The Catacombs“. “Alive In The Catacombs” was recorded in July of 2024 at the famous Catacombs of Paris in Paris, France — an ossuary hosting the remains of millions of Parisians. The band performed stripped down renditions of five of their songs for that special set, with vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme having underwent emergency surgery and remaining bedridden for seven months just days after that set.
A number of legs of touring in support of that performance have since been announced, with the band’s fall touring schedule running as follows:
