New Jersey-based experimental metal outfit Tombs have pushed out a second single from their next studio album “Feral Darkness“. Below you can give a listen to “The Sun Sets” well ahead of that records’ October 17th release date. Speaking on this new cut, bassist Drew Murphy offered:
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished on the album. I’m particularly proud of this song. It’s definitely a standout track in my opinion. When I listen to this song I feel like it takes me on an epic journey that ends with being stranded in the middle of a very angry sea. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.”
“Feral Darkness” represents a bit of a stylistic shift for the group, as it finds them incorporating more goth and death rock influences into their brand of black metal.
