Little Rock, AR doom metallers Pallbearer have sonically overhauled their 2014 sophomore album “Foundations Of Burden” for a new ‘redux’ version. Taking to social media today, August 19th, the band offered the following explanation as to what went into this revised take on the record:
“‘Foundations of Burden‘ was released on this day in 2014.
Over the past year we’ve completely reconstructed the album from the original sessions, with remixed and remastered treatments of its six pieces that fully realize our original vision for this transformative part of our history.
This refreshed release features entirely new artwork from artist Ben Vierling, imbuing the album with his own visionary interpretation of the record’s iconography.
More information and pre-orders for Foundations of Burden (2025 Redux) launch this Friday at 9am EST.”
