Some of Ozzy Osbourne‘s final years will be explored in an upcoming BBC documentary ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home“. Filmed across a three-year period, the documentary aims to tell his various health challenges, his family’s decision to move back to the UK, the challenges he faced in getting back onstage and more.
Originally conceived as a series by the name of ‘Home To Roost‘ back in 2022, Ozzy‘s noted health decline as he struggled with the advancing symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and mobility issues from injury and subsequent surgeries, shifted the focus of the project into a one-hour documentary.
Clare Sillery, BBC Head of Commissioning, Documentaries, stated:

It features family moments, humour, reflection and shows the enduring spirit that made Ozzy a global icon. The series is slated to air on BBC One on Monday, August 18th at 09:00pm. It will also be available to UK residents via the BBC iPlayer. Ozzy passed away on July 22nd as a result of cardiac arrest, just weeks after performing his final live sendoff for both himself and his pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath.
