PRESIDENT, the buzzed about masked alternative metal band who emerged on the scene this year amid much speculation, played their first club show last night, July 30th. The outfit hit the stage at The Garage in London, UK for their second show overall, following set live debut at this summer’s ‘Download Festival‘.
Yesterday’s set found the group delivering their first-ever live performance a cover of “Change (In The House Of Flies)“, the 4x platinum 2000 hit single from alternative metal greats Deftones. Fan-filmed footage of that rendition is available below.
PRESIDENT‘s debut EP “King Of Terrors” will be released on September 26th. While as yet unofficially confirmed, the project appears to be fronted by fronted by Charlie Simpson of Fightstar/Busted fame.
The rest of the setlist for last night’s concert included performances of “Fearless“, “Dionysus“, “RAGE“, “Destroy Me” and the band’s introductory single, “In The Name Of The Father“.
