Word of Tombs‘ new studio album, “Feral Darkness” has come to light, with the blackened post-metallers plotting an October 17th release date for it through Redefining Darkness. A press release notes this new record will find the band branching out into their gothic and death rock influences, with a first single in the form of the title track now available below. The group’s founder/frontman Mike Hill spelled out that change in direction as follows:
“On ‘Feral Darkness‘ we are going deeper into the abyss, adding layer of expression that we’ve been working on over the last decade. The new album is the closest we have come to date with realizing our journey into the darker aspects of the cosmos with a healthy dose of personal introspection.”
