Zakk Wylde has paid tribute to his late bandmate, Ozzy Osbourne. The heavy metal icon passed away this morning, July 22nd, following a lengthy struggle with illness. Wylde was a fixture in Osbourne‘s life, appearing alongside him both in the studio and onstage throughout much of his solo career from 1988 onwards. Wylde was also one of the final musicians who got the honor of performing with Osbourne, accompanying him during his solo set portion of his farewell live performance earlier this month in Birmingham, UK.
Taking to social media this evening, Wylde shared:
