New material from Snot is officially on the way. The reactivated nü-metal band, whose last ‘official’ album “Get Some” arrived back in 1997, have been working on new songs as of late. Bassist John “Tumor” Fahnestock shared the below tease of what’s to come, offering alongside it:
“NEW SNOT COMING Stay Tuned for more stories, reels and posts as we begin to lay down the tracks for our next record”
The band returned to active duty last year, having welcomed their new vocalist Andy Knapp. Following the release of “Get Some” and the tragic 1998 death of their vocalist Lynn Strait, Snot transformed the material they had been writing for their sophomore album into “Strait Up” — an all-star tribute album to Strait that featured guest vocals from members of System Of A Down, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and more.
