While Deftones, etc. frontman Chino Moreno is primarily known for his unique vocal approach, his burgeoning interest in playing guitar took root back in the early 2000s, leading to him frequently strapping on an axe during the band’s time in the studio, and on stage.

Now Moreno has teamed with KDHK Electronics for the release of his own Digital Bath effects pedal. That pedal not only takes its name from the track of the same name found on Deftones‘ 2000 landmark album “White Pony“, it also sets out to repcature the guitar sound found on it.

Moreno himself has already been utilizing the filter-delay modulation pedal himself at Deftones shows, having taken it for its first live test run during the band’s 2024 ‘Coachella‘ sets. According to KHDK, ‘Digital Bath is a filter-delay modulation pedal designed to dissolve your guitar signal into waves of dreamy textures and hypnotic echoes.’

David Karon, who co-founded the aforementioned company with Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett, stated, “Digital Bath is the most complex pedal we have ever developed. It took us nearly two years to get it absolutely perfect.”
