Canadian death metallers Cryptopsy have just launched the song “Dead Eyes Replete” as the latest single from their upcoming ninth studio album, “An Insatiable Violence“, which will arrive next Friday, June 20th. Much of that album is themed around “the waking nightmare” that certain aspects of modern technology have introduced to the public.
According to vocalist Matt McGachy, this track focuses on another troubling aspect afforded to recent generations, he stated:
“‘Dead Eyes Replete‘ is one of the most brutal songs on our new album. It reaches into the depths of the sordid world of YouTube child stars and how parents rob them of their youth and innocence all in the name of greed.”
