It would seem that the identity of In Flames‘ new drummer is Jon Rice of Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats / ex-Job For A Cowboy fame. The Swedish melodeath pioneers tried to be a bit coy with the reveal of their newest lineup addition, sharing the below shots on social media with his face obscured this morning, May 29th.
Rice‘s apparent new role — be it temporary or not — follows the band announcing they parted ways with Tanner Wayne earlier this week. Fans won’t have to wait long to see if the speculation is true, as the group are next scheduled to hit the stage this coming Monday, June 02nd at Noblessneri Valukoda in Tallinn, EST with Jinjer and Unprocessed.
