NJ post-hardcore outfit Thursday have booked some headlining shows with I Am The Avalanche and Blood Vulture ahead of their show opening for My Chemical Romance at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ this August. Speaking on that via social media today, May 28th, Thursday offered:
“We may be standing on the edge of summer but as far as we are concerned, August cannot come soon enough. We know we are not the only people who feel this way! To get to play at Met Life Stadium with @deathcabforcutie and @mychemicalromance is one of the highlights of our lives as Jersey Boys! To prepare for this epic adventure we have decided to do some punk rock warm ups in Allentown, Baltimore and Albany.
Joining us on these special shows are our dear friends @iamtheavalanchenyc and @bloodvultureband the new band featuring our good friend Jordan Olds from @twominutestolatenight (Jordan did Dancing in the Dark with us during the lockdowns— remember that???)
