Drug Church have announced they’ve canceled the remaining dates of their tour with Liquid Mike this week to mourn their late booking agent Dave Shapiro, who passed away in a plane accident in San Diego, CA this morning. That accident also claimed the life of former The Devil Wears Prada drummer Daniel Wiliams.

Drug Church said on their social media today of their change in plans in light of this tragic accident:

“Our longtime friend and booking agent Dave Shapiro passed away early this morning when his plane crashed in San Diego

We’re sorry to announce that we are cancelling the rest of our shows with @liquidmikeband. Apologies to everyone in Indianapolis, Grand Rapids and Covington who were planning on coming to see us this weekend

More importantly our hearts go out to the friends and families of everyone who lost their lives in this tragedy

We are still going to be performing on Monday at the Memorial Day Fest in Baltimore with our good friend @jeremyxbolm on vocals

Rest in Peace Dave, we owe you everything”

As mentioned above, they still plan to play next week’s ‘Memorial Day Meltdown‘ festival this coming Monday, May 26th, performing with Touché Amoré‘s Jeremy Bolm on vocals at the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, MD.
