PRESIDENT, the somewhat mysterious new masked mystery band, have announced their first-ever headlining show. Leaning into their gimmick, they’ve taken to calling this show a ‘rally’, with the concert being a part of their ‘campaign’. The band are scheduled to perform July 30th at The Garage in London, UK with Zetra opening. Mailing list pre-sales went up today, May 21st, with the general onsale due to kickoff this Friday, May 23rd at 10:00am local.
The band, who are widely thought to be fronted by Charlie Simpson of Busted and Fightstar fame, released their debut single ‘Inaugural Presidential Address’, “In The Name Of The Father“, last week. Ahead of that headlining show, the band will stage their first ‘rally’ at the June 15th date of this year’s ‘Download Festival‘ in Donington, UK.
