Metallica have released a 1995 live performance of their track “Devil’s Dance“. That show was part of a promotional concert put on by Canadian beer brewery Molson back in September of 1995. It saw the thrash metal stars perform in the unconventional locale of Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories of Canada. That hamlet hosts a population of roughly 1,000 people.
This performance will be featured on the upcoming deluxe edition of Metallica‘s divisive “Load” box set, which expands the aforementioned divisive 1996 album to a staggering 301 recordings from the era. That set will be out on June 13th.
