Returning alternative rockers Foo Fighters will be spending some time touring Asia this fall. As it stands now, the returning multi-platinum band have the following shows announced:
10/02 Jakarta, IND – Carnaval Ancol
10/04 Marina Bay, SGP – Singapore Grand Prix
10/07 Tokyo, JPN – Saitama Super Arena
10/10 Osaka, JPN – Glion Arena Kobe
The band have been silent since this past September, when vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl publicly admitted to fathering a newborn child outside of his current marriage. This forthcoming return to active duty will find the group unveiling a new lineup addition, as drummer Josh Freese was was fired last week. Since then, rumors have been flying over who will be taking over the spot, with Shane Hawkins, the 18-year-old son of late Foo Fighters drummer/vocalist Taylor Hawkins, seemingly being the top contender.
