In light of their planned world tour with Bullet For My Valentine publicly falling apart last week, Trivium have begun to pick up the pieces. The aforementioned two bands had planned to spend the year on the road together, celebrating the 20th anniversaries of their respective albums “The Poison” and “Ascendancy“. However, two legs into that run, Bullet For My Valentine vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck opted to instead focus on his band’s new album.
Trivium have vowed to continue on with their “Ascendancy” celebrations, however, they have indicated that some territories will have to wait longer than expected given the unexpected scheduling issues. This morning (May 19th) found Trivium announcing the dates for a summer European/UK tour. The admat doesn’t indicate any special “Ascendancy” performances though.
