Sybreed have confirmed their plans to work on new material, revealing that some demoing has already taken place. However, as it currently stands, the industrial groove metal band don’t expect to be spending much time on the stage. A statement shared yesterday, May 13th, explained their plans as follows:
“To be clear: a full reunion with live shows isn’t something we’re able to do right now, and likely won’t be in the near future. That said, there is some good news: we’ve started writing new demos, and yes, new singles will be coming your way eventually. As you know, we never want to rush things, so thank you for your patience. One thing we can say is that some of the new tracks we’re working on are pure, classic Sybreed. It feels great to dive back into that world.”
After laying dormant since 2013, the band returned in 2023, eventually revisiting some past material in the studio for an expanded series of catalog reissues.
