Deathcore outfit A Wake In Providence are down another lead vocalist with Adam Mercer having exited the roster. Mercer took over the spot back in 2018, replacing Will Ramos, who left to join Lorna Shore. A statement shared by A Wake In Providence today reads:
“We regret to announce the departure of our vocalist Adam Mercer from AWIP.
We wish him the best in his future endeavors in music and his personal life.
We want to thank Adam for all he has contributed to the band.
There is no negativity between the remaining members and Adam.
AWIP will continue.”
In a separate statement, the band also shared:
“We’re beyond grateful to @adam_vocals for everything he’s brought to AWIP—his passion, talent, and dedication have left a lasting mark on this band and our fans. As he moves on to new endeavors, we wish him nothing but success and continued growth. We know our fans will join us in supporting him wherever the road takes him.
This isn’t the end of AWIP, just the close of an incredible chapter. AWIP will continue.”
