Melodic death metal favs The Black Dahlia Murder took to the stage at this past weekend’s ‘Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival‘ in Columbus, OH with a special lineup in place. As was announced just ahead of the fest, vocalist Brian Eschbach has been forced to sit out the band’s next two dates.
Recruited to appear in his place was none other than Guy Kozowyk of deathgrinders The Red Chord. This past Friday’s (May 09th) show also served as the live debut for another new addition to the band, with Alluvial guitarist Wes Hauch having been announced as The Black Dahlia Murder‘s new live guitarist, following Brandon Ellis‘ departure this past February.
The setlist for this first of two shows with Kozowyk at the helm ran as follows:

Kozowyk will once more front the band at this upcoming Sunday’s (May 18th) closing date of the annual ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival in Daytona Beach, FL.
