Days after replacing Deicide on Exodus‘ spring tour with Misfire, Possessed are now no longer on the bill. Upon being revealed as Deicide‘s replacement this past Wednesday, March 19th, Possessed stated the following on social media:

“Proud to be supporting the mighty Exodus for this U.S.A. tour. Our Bay Area Brothers Exodus and Possessed have a long history and this is going to be a great tour”

However, in a statement newly shared by Exodus today, March 21st, Havok have now replaced Possessed on the bill. Exodus said of that lineup switch:

“Because of recent medical issues and limitations to Possessed, we welcome HAVOK to join us and Misfire for the Swarm of Terror and a trifecta of thrash!”

The addition of Possessed to the bill was controversial, as disturbing allegations emerged against the band’s vocalist Jeff Becerra last December. Becerra himself went on to publicly deny those claims. However, since the allegations were made against him, Possessed have been operating aspects of their social media presence with comments turned off.
