Multi-platinum rap rockers 311 are dialing up the hype meter for their annual big day tomorrow, March 11th. Fans of the group have noticed recently that the outfit updated the album artwork of various releases from their catalog with a blue hue on digital service providers.
Then there’s also this new teaser site to contend with, which features nostalgia in relation to the blue era of the band (aka their self-titled 3x multi-platinum third studio album,) which not so coincidentally turns 30 this year.
Those who call the number displayed on the signage of the fictitious record store — itself named after the third single from the ‘blue album’ — will be given info on an upcoming reissue of that self-titled opus, which is set to go up for sale tomorrow, 3/11. It also seems that an anniversary tour may be in the works, as the aforementioned site features a poster that seemingly plots out the stops for a rumored U.S. tour.
