Megadeth have secured a new label home, with the GRAMMY Award-winning frontman/guitarist Dave Mustaine having partnered his Tradecraft imprint label with BLKIIBLK — a new label imprint of Frontiers Label Group. If that name sounds familiar, reunited metallic hardcore outfit Biohazard signed with that fledgling venture this past October.
Mustaine of course founded the multi-platinum selling Megadeth and had the following to say about this new arrangement:
“When I first met Tom Lipsky [North American head of A&R at Frontiers Label Group] and Bob Chiappardi back in the day, I had no idea we would be working together again so many years in the future. I look forward to working with Serafino [Perugino, President/CEO of Frontiers Label Group] and the team in Italy and I can’t wait for the fans to hear the songs from our new record.”
Megadeth have once gain been working with Chris Rakestraw behind the boards for their seventeenth studio album, having began writing and recording sessions for it back in November of last year.
