Serpentine Dominion, the supergroup comprised of Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, Cannibal Corpse‘s George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher and ex-The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas, have been working on a follow-up to their self-titled 2016 debut album.
Speaking recently with Suicide Silence‘s Chris Garza on the Garza Podcast, Dutkiewicz revealed, “I’m looking to finish up… I’ve got five songs done I’d like to get another five written for another Serpentine Dominion record.” One variable that is up in the air is the involvement of Lucas in the outfit. According to Dutkiewicz, Lucas appears to have largely retired from drumming in recent years.
Before Serpentine Dominion can slither out again, Dutkiewicz has some other commitments to attend to. Among them are touring on Killswitch Engage‘s latest album “This Consequence“, as well as Burn Eternal, his upcoming reunion project with ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones.
