Hatebreed have announced that Shadows Fall bassist Matt Bachand will be handling the live low end duties for them “for the foreseeable future.” The veteran Bridgeport, CT-based metalcore band made the reveal today, February 24th, stating as much on social media:
While it was unclear why Chris Beattie won’t be assuming the role he’s been holding down since 1994, a look at his social media indicates that he has been spending his time focusing on his day job as a realtor in recent months. Word of Bachand‘s new position comes as Hatebreed have beefed up their touring plans, newly revealing the dates for their run across the summer European festival season.
