Māori metallers Alien Weaponry‘s track “1000 Friends” received its online premiere today, February 19th. Speaking of what the song means to him, vocalist/guitarist Lewis Raharuhi de Jong stated:
“‘1000 Friends‘ encapsulates the shifting way we socialize today, and the impact it has on the human psyche. We can often feel disconnected from the outside world. The human mind wasn’t built to comprehend the world we are currently living in.”
The below music video for the song was shot with director Alex Hargreaves. You can expect to find this track on the band’s new album “Te Rā“, which Napalm Records have slated for a March 28th release date.
