A live tribute to the Stormtroopers Of Death will be staged at this year’s ‘Milwaukee Metal Fest‘. That short-lived crossover thrash band found Anthrax‘s Scott Ian, Charlie Benante and ex-bassist Dan Lilker unite with vocalist Billy Milano to record an over-the-top offensive album, which they delivered in the form of 1986’s “Speak English Or Die“.
This new tribute will be staged on Friday, May 16th at this year’s ‘Milwaukee Metal Fest‘. That event will be held at the The Rave / Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI (see the lineup.) Hatebreed‘s Jamey Jasta will be fronting this tribute, with both Ian and Lilker reprising their roles. Filling in on drums will be Revel Ian, Scott‘s multi-instrumentalist son who also has a band of his own.
