The all-star roster for the farewell sendoff for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne is shining even brighter today. That sold out concert, which will be held July 05th at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, will find the aforementioned heavy metal pioneers reuniting onstage for one last time, with Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and returning drummer Bill Ward putting a capstone on their legendary career. Ahead of that, Osbourne is expected to perform a ‘short set’ celebrating the hits from his solo career.

A who’s who of metal royalty will also be performing at that show, with Guns N’ Roses, Tool and Rival Sons marking the latest additions to the already stacked roster. Those band now have the supporting cast at the fest running as follows:

Metallica
Guns N’ Roses
Slayer
Tool
Pantera
Gojira
Halestorm
Alice In Chains
Lamb Of God
Anthrax
Mastodon
Rival Sons

On top of that, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello will be serving as the musical director for a jam session expected to pay tribute to the works of Sabbath and Ozzy with the following participants confirmed thus far:

Andrew Watt
Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins)
Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Danny Carey (Tool)
David Draiman (Disturbed)
David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth)
Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses)
Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit)
Lzzy Hale (Halestorm)
Jake E. Lee (Red Dragon Cartel, ex-Ozzy Osbourne)
Jonathan Davis (Korn)
KK Downing (KK’s Priest, ex-Judas Priest)
Mike Bordin (Faith No More/Ozzy Osbourne)
Papa V Perpetua (Ghost)
Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, etc.)
Sammy Hagar (ex-Van Halen)
Slash (Guns N’ Roses)
II (Sleep Token)
Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine)
Vernon Reid (Living Colour)
Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe)
Wolfgang Van Halen (Mammoth WVH, ex-Van Halen)

As revealed over the weekend though, it would appear that Osbourne‘s health issues will hamper him from performing full sets with Sabbath and his solo band, as he expected to only perform select songs.

Update: February 17th, 2025 12:13pm:

The roster of guest musicians for the all-star jam has been updated with Vernon Reid (Living Colour), David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), Andrew Watt, Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe). Additionally, actor and avowed metalhead Jason Momoa will be hosting the event.
