Indigenous black metal outfit Blackbraid have given a brief update on their forthcoming new album “Blackbraid III“. That outing, is expected to be released sometime this summer, with a special listening party planned for this July.
According to the band’s mastermind Sgah’gahsowáh, work on that effort has now mostly wrapped, with the opus apparently set to be somewhat transformative for the aforementioned musician. He commented of it yesterday, February 02nd:
“In the coming weeks, as the days of winter slowly fade and the light returns, so shall blackbraid be born anew as well. Without saying too much, I am happy to reveal that the third full length has been all but completed and will be released this year, sometime before autumn. More details on this in the coming months.”
