Mantar‘s descent into “Post Apocalyptic Depression” continued today, with the below debut of their latest new single, “Rex Perverso“. The German sludge metal duo have a February 14th release date slated through Metal Blade Records for their new record, “Post Apocalyptic Depression“. Director Guilherme Henriques oversaw this song’s accompanying music video.
Addressing this single, the band’s guitarist/vocalist Hanno Klänhardt commented:
“The title roughly translates to ‘king of the perverts,’ a title apparently worn with pride worldwide. This song is all about groove which has always been a main priority and one of the strongest weapons of the band. It’s catchy and on point. The song triggers simple and primitive instincts. It’s over before you realize you’ve felt it.”
