Australian industrial rock duo VOWWS have signed with Out Of Line Music. They’ve also set out to showcase some new music alongside word of the signing. As it so happens, their new track, “Blood’s On Fire“, features co-production by Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle fame and studio drumming laid down by Josh Freese (Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, etc.). Howerdel also co-produced VOWWS‘ forthcoming new album. The band said of this single:
‘It’s the last song we wrote for the album, and the one that made the most sense as the first single. By the time we got to making this record, we had been working on a lot of different songs over such a long period, we were full of all this pent-up energy. It’s about an intense need to lose yourself in something, or someone, whatever, good or bad. Anything to get out of stagnation – we missed the feeling of being overstimulated, overwhelmed.”
