British stoner metal/noise rock group Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will be putting out their fifth studio album “Death Hilarious” on April 04th through Missing Piece Records. Just in from it is the below Ben Faircloth-directed video for the song “Stitches“. Vocalist Matt Baty commented of that song:
“I’m aware our band sits in a world largely commandeered by bravado, confidence and machoism, but ‘Stitches’ is an expression of vulnerability, paradoxical emotions and those so familiar pangs of anxiety I wrestle with while butting heads with societal expectations and personal struggles.”
In an interesting development, the new track “Glib Tongued” finds acclaimed rapper/producer El-P of Run The Jewels, ex-Company Flow, etc. fame. guesting. This isn’t his first time venturing out into heavier fare, having previously worked on tracks from Nine Inch Nails and Rage Against The Machine‘s Zack de la Rocha.
