Primus guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde was one of the many unfortunate individuals to lose their home in the ongoing wildfires sweeping through California. His longtime Primus bandmate Les Claypool commented of that situation earlier today, January 10th, showing the wreckage of what was once the LaLonde family residence. Claypool offered:
“All that is left of our good friend Ler Lalonde’s home. When Mother Nature gets up on her hind legs, it can be brutal. My heart hurts for him and his family.”
Spiritbox‘s Josh Gilbert is also another musician to have lost his home to the fires, as seen in the below post shared by his significant other. Various other rock and metal musicians have been forced to flee from the fires as well, including Rage Against The Machine‘s Brad Wilk, Converge, etc. drummer Ben Koller.
