SoCal metalcore mainstays Bleeding Through unveiled their new single “I Am Resistance” online today, January 09th. That song finds Andrew Neufeld, vocalist of Canadian hardcore outfit Comeback Kid, making a guest appearance. Bleeding Through vocalist Brandan Schieppati had the following to say of this track:
“‘I Am Resistance‘ is a song about self reflection. It’s the times in your life that you come close to rock bottom and lose yourself. This song is about the battle of self medication and self destructive behaviors that sometimes grip your throat in life. This is a pledge to what you love and what you are truly devoted to.”
That cut is slated for the group’s upcoming album “NINE“, which SharpTone Records will have out on February 14th. In addition to Neufeld, that record will also feature cameos from a pair of metalcore vets in Doc Coyle (God Forbid, Bad Wolves, etc.) and Brian Fair (Shadows Fall).
