Nine Inch Nails‘ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross added yet another award to their growing collection last night (January 05th). The decorated duo’s score to their 2024 collaboration with director Luca Guadagnino, ‘Challengers‘ won the ‘Best Score – Motion Picture’ award at the 82nd annual Golden Globes, beating out the sonic counterparts of ‘Dune: Part Two‘, ‘The Brutalist‘, ‘Conclave‘, ‘Emilia Pérez‘ and ‘The Wild Robot‘.
Since embarking on scoring film and television together roughly 15 years ago, the pair have netted over 33 awards for themselves, including a pair of Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, two Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award, among numerous other accolades. Featured in their upcoming slate of scoring projects is their next collaboration with Guadagnino, ‘After The Hunt‘.
