French metalcore outfit LANDMVRKS will have their fourth studio album “The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been” out on April 25th through Arising Empire. In the meantime, they’ve just dropped two new tracks from it, “Sulfur” and “Sombre 16“. A music video combining both of those songs was once again lensed by director Pavel Trebukhin (Bleed From Within, Imminence), and is newly available to view below.
The band themselves had the following to say of these songs continuing the conceptual arc they’ve crafted for this upcoming album:
“‘Sulfur‘ + ‘Sombre 16‘ are two new tracks that continue the story from ‘Creature,’ while also introducing the universe of the new album The Darkest Place That I’ve Ever Been. In these tracks, and this new album we follow a protagonist as he descends deeper and deeper into hell, undergoing both physical and mental transformation.”
