Your first look at Snot with their as-yet unannounced new vocalist has newly been shared online. Yesterday (December 07th) the returning nü-metal outfit shared the below glimpse from an apparent rehearsal session for their approaching live comeback shows.
The band’s first gigs back since recruiting the mystery musician will commence in mid-January and find them performing their beloved album “Get Some” in its entirety. Guitarists Mikey Doling & Sonny Mayo, bassist John “Tumor” Fahnestock and drummer Jamie Miller are all said to be back for this reunion, which will feature a new member on vocals. That spot was previously held by the late Lynn Strait, as well as Tommy Vext & Carl Bensley.
In an interview with Talk Toomey last month, Doling spoke of their newest recruit, stating that he is apparently local to the Santa Barbara, CA scene. He further offered:
“What he did is he set up in front of his, he has a little rehearsal spot, drums and amps, and he put ‘Get Some‘ through his PA system, and he wrapped the cable from the microphone run his arm and laying into it as if he was doing a show. He did like five songs in. He was absolutely incredible, nailing it. He looks right. He’s got the whole punk vibe that we’re looking for. And he just nailed it, man.”
