New Zealand nü-metallers Kaosis have released their new studio album, “We Are The Future“. That effort features a raft of guest appearances following a drip-feed reveal of the songs over the course of the last year or so. (hed)p.e. drummer Jeremiah Stratton was hired on to handle the studio drumming for the album, which boasts guest appearances from the following small army of musicians:

Additional contributions from DJ Storm and DJ Pain1 are also featured on this opus, which was crafted during the pandemic. The band’s vocalist Xen commented:
“Our debut, “Hitech Lowlife“, is a relentless album that forces the audience to pay attention, but now that we have your attention, we want to show you what else we are capable of.”
He further added, “All of these legends have played a significant role in not only shaping me as a musician and producer but the entire state of the metal as we know it.”
Kaosis guitarist Djinnobi added, “You can’t be part of the future without having a past. Kaosis has always focused on progress through evolving our sound and sometimes that means looking at where you have come from.”
A new remix done by Xen for the song “See! See! I Told You Baby!” has newly been shared to close out the album. That track sports cameos from Benji Webbe and Marc Rizzo. A press release says it “draws inspiration from cyberpunk culture and drum n bass.”
