August Burns Red‘s annual tradition of Christmas holiday songs remains intact with today’s (November 27th) release of their instrumental take on “Waltz Of The Flowers“, originally from ‘The Nutcracker‘ by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The metalcore band had the following to share of their rendition:
“In keeping with our annual tradition, we are excited to reveal this year’s August Burns Red holiday song. We tackled the classical ballet ‘Waltz of the Flowers,’ taken from Tchaikovsky‘s ‘The Nutcracker‘. It was so much fun adding our spin to the timeless melodies written by this legendary composer. Hope you like it and Happy Holidays!”
December 13th and 14th will find the group descending upon the Freedom Hall at the Lancaster Country Convention Center in their hometown of Lancaster, PA for their annual ‘Christmas Burns Red‘ bash. The likes of The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, Gideon and more will be joining them at those shows.
