Swedish death metallers Retromorphosis have unveiled the details for their debut album “Psalmus Mortis“. Four alumni of Spawn Of Possession have once again joined forces in this new outfit, which also features an ex-member of Decrepit Birth. Their roster runs as follows:

Guitars: Jonas Bryssling (Spawn Of Possession)
Guitars: Christian Muenzner (Spawn Of Possession, ex-Obscura/Necrophagist)
Bass: Erlend Caspersen (Spawn Of Possession, The Allseeing I, Abhorrent)
Drums: KC Howard (Odius Mortem, ex-Decrepit Birth)
A visualizer for their new track “Vanished” has just made its way out to the world, with the aforementioned album on course for a February 21st release via Season Of Mist. Jonas Bryssling, who handles guitars, had the following to say about the creative freedom this project offers:
“We had rules in Spawn Of Possession. Everything had to always be so intense. Retromorphosis is more free. Psalmus Mortis can be eerie, doomy, or even quite simple.”
