Blackbraid‘s third album, “Blackbraid III“, is on track for a summer 2025 release. While an exact release date remains pending, the indigenous black metal outfit, who are masterminded by Sgah’gahsowáh, will be allowing fans who attend next year’s ‘Fire In The Mountains Festival‘ a chance to hear it before its released.
Sgah’gahsowáh commented:
“Today I am very pleased to announce that I have partnered with Fire in the Mountains to curate an exclusive pre-release event for my forthcoming full length ‘Blackbraid III.’ Festival goers will have the opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of its release.
I am extremely proud of this album and absolutely cannot wait to share it with you, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to debut it than this beautiful festival deep in the heart of Blackfeet Nation territory. Very grateful to be a part of Fire In The Mountains, see you there!”
Next year’s ‘Fire In The Mountains‘ will take place July 25th-27th at the Red Eagle Campground in Glacier, Montana. That festival will also see the U.S. live debut of Old Man’s Child, along with sets from Wardruna, Blood Incantation, Emma Ruth Rundle and more.
