According to a recent interview conducted with band frontman Corey Taylor by HardDrive Radio; Stone Sour are working on a new covers EP/live DVD which they hope to have out by the years end. The DVD will feature a live concert which the band filmed last year in England, while the covers EP will feature songs chosen by each member of the band. More official details on the release are expected in the coming weeks.
In other news, Taylor apparently hinted at the possibility of some U.S. shows with his other band Slipknot as well. Taylor, who has been doing a flurry of press for his recently released book “Seven Deadly Sins: Settling The Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good“, has booked the following two Las Vegas solo shows:
