December 06th will serve as the premiere date for the first new single from reunited metalcore outfit Shadows Fall since 2012. Brian Fair, frontman for the Boston, MA-based band, recently revealed the news to Sultans Of Slack, stating:
“…We’re still not touring full time, but we got an anniversary show for the 20th anniversary of ‘The War Within‘, which is insane that it was 20 years ago. So we’re gonna be playing the whole album at the Worcester Palladium in Massachusetts on December 21st. And we’re gonna be dropping a new song December 6th. And that’s all the details I got about it. I can’t say anything else about it. Except December 6th, new tune coming at you from Shadows Fall. Super stoked. So, yep. You heard it first. That’s the first time I said the date. So it’s coming at you.”
Work on the their comeback album began over a year ago with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Hatebreed, Rob Zombie). As previously reported, the group will be playing a show celebrating 20 years of their fourth album, “The War Within“, at The Palladium in Worcester, MA on December 21st.
Support will come from Unearth (performing “The Oncoming Storm“,) as well as E-Town Concrete, Jasta, Within The Ruins & Brick By Brick.
