New Jersey metalcore outfit God Forbid have newly released a mini-documentary titled ‘Gone By Not Forever‘. With the band’s original run having come to an end in 2013, the quartet spent nearly a decade on hiatus until returning to the stage in 2022 for that year’s ‘Blue Ridge Rock Festival‘ in Alton, VA. Former As I Lay Dying guitarist Nick Hipa was recruited as the band’s touring guitarist for the big return.

This new mini-doc captures that comeback show and was directed by Hector GallardoGod Forbid‘s reunion remains an ongoing concern, with the following several shows celebrating 20 years of their third studio album “Gone Forever” booked for the remainder of the year
