Thrash metal legends Metallica are readying to make their way down under after a lengthy absence. The group had originally planned to hit up Australia and New Zealand in 2019 on a run with Slipknot, but wound up canceling that run as vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield sought treatment for addiction issues.
Now the celebrated Californian metal institution will be out that way in November of next year, this time with diamond-certified alternative metal band Evanescence as direct support, and crossover legends Suicidal Tendencies opening. Dates for the run include:
