Moon Destroys (ex-Torche/Royal Thunder) have returned with new member and subsequent new music. Joining guitarist Juan Montoya (Killer Be Killed, ex-Torche) and drummer Evan Diprima (Brother Hawk, ex-Royal Thunder) in the fold is vocalist/guitarist Charlie Suárez (MonstrO, ex-Sunday Driver). The trio have just put out their single “The Nearness Of June“, with Suárez having the following to say of it:
“‘The Nearness Of June‘, romanticized as far as the galaxy permits, is nothing more than a tale of hope within despair amongst the passengers of an inter-planetary vessel being propelled into the unknown.”
A full-length debut album from the trio is in the works with a 2025 release expected.
